Je ré-ouvre ce topic pour donner une information d'hier, suite aux remarques que j'avais faites à l'équipe de REX.
Voici leurs toutes dernières réponses qui confirment bien l'existence d'un BUG !!

1/ Réponse de Bill Barette (REX bêta team) du 31/12/09 répondant à un de mes posts:

This just started happening and I have seen it too.  Maybe be a change in metar formatting that we have to fix.   I noticed that before metars used to show Q998 and now they show Q0998.  Maybe this has something to do with it, not sure yet.  I am sure Reed will figure it out"

"I don't think the problem be the result of 3 or 4 digits, because the problem also exists with inch / Hg!  I checked it in North America (CYYT). A pressure of 29.23 was displayed 29.92 . Sorry for Reed. Have a good day!

"Yeah, but it depends on what REX uses for this.  The other value is then converted.  If you look at the Weather page WASys for a city in NAmer., like KORD, the pressures are in QNH, not in Hg.  Or since REX uses both, it could be that if one of them is out of range, both are set to standard pressure.  But I have no idea about this really, but that would explain how this happening suddenly.  The program didn't change, something else did."

Donc, en clair, pour le moment REX2 est "critique" en "méteo réelle" avec des QNH inférieurs à 1000 Hpa car plus l'écart au 1013 est important, plus l'erreur altimétrique augmente!! Exemple: avec des valeurs de ces derniers jours avoisinant les 993, l'écart était de 580'!! Pour 988 elle est d'environ 700' !! (avec la formule usuelle de 1Hpa=29'). Maintenant, il faut attendre le correctif de REX....quand ils auront trouvé le lézard !
Par contre, il serait intéressant que quelqu'un qui n'a pas encore updaté son REX2 en .818 et .914 nous donne ses résultats dans cette configuration. Merci de vos réponses .
